4 weeks until vacation (hopefully I can make it til then)
Kona’s seizure was mild and it was 38 days since the previous one
my presentation was selected for a national conference next year

The Women by T.C. Boyle

About the women in the life of Frank Lloyd Wright, the greatest architect in the world (according to him). FLW is one of my favorite architects so I’m always interested when there is something to read about him.

The book focused on the personalities of the women and left FLW as neither hero nor villian, although he was probably both. It was set mostly in Taliesen in Spring Green, WI, but also in Oak Park and Chicago. Being an architect, and from Chicago, I am ashamed to say that I’ve never visited Taliesen (east or west) but it is something I need to do.

A gorgeous day at the ballpark

Right in front of us-the heart of the fan base
Cubs beat the Giants
Made the day all worthwhile.

AT&T Park is a great baseball park. Reminds me of Wrigley Field

_Not as long of a week this week as last. I took Thursday and Friday off. Thursday was our wedding anniversary and unfortunately I got a migraine. Friday was migraine hangover. _
